We offer a stunning wine-experience getaway situated on our grand estate with manicured lawns, surrounded by views of the expansive forests of the Santa Cruz Mountains, Monterey Bay, and acres of our Pinot Noir Estate vineyards.

Our Facilities

We offer a variety of wedding facilities to match your plans. We can accommodate up to 135 total guests indoors and 175 guests outdoors.

Wedding Hill

Wedding vows are exchanged on Wedding Hill beneath a white gazebo, surrounded by our Pinot Noir vineyard and the beauty of the expansive redwood forests of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Nature provides a stunning canvas of flowers, evergreens, and oak trees. A lavender and rose-lined brick stairway leads the wedding party to the ceremony site.

The VIP Room & Veranda

Following the wedding, guests are hosted in the VIP Suite, where hors d’oeuvres are served and Byington wines are poured from a mahogany bar. Accented with hardwood floors, French doors, large windows, a high-beamed ceiling, and a stone fireplace, this majestic room creates the ambiance. The VIP room opens onto a large wisteria lined veranda overlooking one of our Pinot Noir vineyards and the Monterey Bay. This room can also be transformed into the perfect venue for an intimate wedding.

The Bridal Suite

The VIP Room includes a separate room, our Bridal Suite. The wedding celebration begins as the bride and her attendants prepare in the private Bridal Suite complete with comfortable chairs, elegant furniture, a full bath, large mirrors and French doors leading to a balcony overlooking our estate Pinot Noir vineyard.

The Barrel Room / Private Tasting Room

Guests and the wedding party celebrate over dinner and dancing in the Barrel Room with vineyard views and an adjoining balcony. The Barrel Room provides the unparalleled experience of enjoying your meal paired with Byington wine amid the very barrels where our wines are crafted. A hardwood dance floor completes your ideal reception. The adjoining Private Tasting Room with high ceilings, picture windows looking into the winery, and hardwood floors provides an exquisite backdrop for the cake cutting ceremony.

The Cave

For smaller wedding parties of 40 or less, the Cave is a truly extraordinary location. The man-made wine cave, completed in 2002, sits 40 feet beneath our Estate Pinot Noir vineyard. The natural insulation of the earth provides an ideal environment for the creation of world-class wines.

Pricing

The facilities fee for larger weddings, which includes Wedding Hill, the VIP Room & Veranda, and the Barrel Room, is $6500. Both options include use of the Private Tasting Room and Bridal suite and include the following (please halve the first 4 items below for smaller weddings):

This 8-hour package provides time for a full ceremony, reception, and dancing. It includes time for set-up and break-down, and provides 5 hours of party time.

Catering

We partner with a select group of caterers/event planners to ensure a wonderful wedding experience, including Il Fornaio and Thomas John Events. We have an extensive array of per person pricing with our premier caterers for ease of planning. Or the bridal couple may work directly with our caterers/event planners to select all aspects of the wedding day including linens, table settings floral arrangements, and much more. 

Other

While we do not provide wedding planning services, our onsite events coordinator is available to assist with your wedding plans at Byington. In addition to coordinating with our premier catering partners, we are able to recommend, florists, photographers, and musicians, as well as suggestions for your personalized wedding schedule. An event supervisor will be on-site throughout the day of your wedding to ensure perfection.
